Tumbling at Pinnacle Gymnastics

These classes are perfect for students that may not want to focus on traditional gymnastics or as an extra class to complement their training. Focus skills are cartwheels to round-offs, handstands to front handsprings, and standing back handsprings. We utilize body weight & light weighted implements to improve core, leg, and arm strength. 

Tumbling 101, Ages 5-8 and 9+ - 50 minutes

This beginner lass focuses on skills such as cartwheels to round-offs, handstands to front handsprings, and standing back handsprings. We utilize body weight to improve core, leg, and arm strength. Classes utilize floor, trampoline, and rebounding devices.

Tumbling 102 - 50 minutes

This is the next level of our tumbling training for those students that have shown proper form and technique in round offs, back handsprings, and front handsprings. We continue to challenge students to master the basic skills on various mats, tramps, and the floor. The main focus is to connect two skills, i.e. round off to back handspring, back handspring to back handspring, front handspring to cartwheel. Classes are taught in our team area so that we can utilize properly sized equipment and space.

Tumbling 201 - 50 minutes

This is the equivalent of an intermediate level class. Students should show proficiency in both standing back handsprings and round off back handsprings. Focus skills in this class will be back tucks, front tucks, aerials, and connecting two or more skills together. We will continue to challenge students with strength and conditioning as well as progressive drills known to prepare them for new skills. Classes are taught in our team area so that we can utilize properly sized equipment and space.

Tumbling 301 - 60 minutes

This class is our current advanced level class. Students continue to work standing back tucks as well as series tumbling. New skills will be taught such as layouts, twisting, and multi directional tricks. We will continue to use smart conditioning and strength training as well as trampoline, tumble track, and pit surfaces. Classes are taught in our team area so that we can utilize properly sized equipment and space.
