Gym and Learn at Pinnacle Gymnastics

Gym and Learn is a preschool program at Pinnacle Gymnastics.  Students, age 2-PreK, will enjoy our play based program, geared to build a well rounded child.  Students will enjoy focused, custom lesson plans build around different theme each week.  Along with the themed activities, the class will also work on a Letter, Number, Shape, and Color of the Week.  Each day includes structured activities, educational centers, snack, art time, and structured gymnastics time. 

Gym and Learn also works hard to build strong children.  Along with the educational aspects, character building is a focus in our classroom.  Children are encouraged to work together and follow the Pillars of Pinnacle.  This, along with the educational aspects, help build a well rounded child that is ready for Kindergarten.  Our motto is simple, “Teach children to love to learn!”

Who is Gym and Learn?

Kirsten is the Gym and Learn Program Director at Pinnacle Gymnastics. She join the team in July 2010 and created the Gym and Learn program shortly after. Kirsten graduated from the University of Kansas in 2009 and has been working with preschool children since 2006.  Kirsten is now a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is passionate about Early Education and teaching her children in a play focused, well rounded classroom.  When Kirsten is not in the classroom, she loves to spend time with her husband Tristan (2010), and two sons (Crosby, 2013 and Beckett, 2016), traveling, and cheering on her Jayhawks!
